There are certain foods that make everyone feel nostalgic about their childhoods - anyone else miss seeing a Wagon Wheel in their lunch box? One chocolate we can all agree on loving is the humble Freddo bar, a small chunk of Cadbury's Dairy Milk chocolate in the shape of a frog.

One of the best things about the Freddo was the fact that, no matter which shop you went into, they were always 10p - and one of the biggest outrages of our generation is the constant inflation of our froggy friend.

Thankfully, Tesco are doing us all a favour and reducing their prices for their 100-year anniversary campaign - including the Freddo, which is once again being sold for 10p.

Sadly, the Freddo bars are only back to their original price throughout the campaign, and are thought to be returning to the new price of 25p after this week. Tesco's chief customer officer, Alessandra Bellini, said, "We understand that the nation wanted to see the price of the iconic Freddo chocolate bars return to the original price of 10p.

"Given we are celebrating 100 years of great value, we’re really pleased to have been able to give our customers what they want, and have some fun at the same time."

Fans of the chocolate are over the moon about the temporary reduction in price, and took to Twitter to share their happiness. One wrote, 'The good times are coming back!' as another added, 'I'll be stocking up every day!' and one other wrote, 'This is the only good news I need.'
