It comes after a number of beaches in Australia's northeast coast were closed after over 4,000 people were stung by the bluebottle jellyfish, with authorities calling it an 'epidemic'. However, although the sting from a bluebottle jellyfish is extremely painful, it not thought to be 'life-threatening'.

Meanwhile, Peter has been spending some precious time with his loved ones out in Aus. The 'Mysterious Girl' singer has been keeping fans up to date on social media, posting a sweet photo with his mum, dad and sister. He captioned the shot, 'love you mum dad and sis. It meant so much to be home.' sic

Peter, who appeared on Michael McIntyre's Big Show with his wife Emily last weekend, also shared a photo with his best mate George Nicolaou.

He wrote, 'My best man and my best mate. Good seeing you my friend even if it was for a few hours. @cappa1972 Wish I could of seen all my cousins and friends but such a short trip. @miss_zlavi @toullal @conniekattirtzis @christian_fry_dealmake. sic
