All 8 Harry Potter films are now available on Netflix 🙌

If you're a Harry Potter fanatic (who isn't TBH?), then we have some utterly fabulous news for you, as streaming platform Netflix have announced not one, not two, not three, but all EIGHT movies in the franchise are now available for users in the UK and Ireland!

That's right, taking to social media on Tuesday 16th May, bosses over at Netflix delighted Potterheads up and down the country by sharing the news. The post read: '🚨 All 8 Harry Potter films come to Netflix UK/IE tomorrow!! 🚨'. (sic)

Is Harry Potter on Netflix?

From Wednesday 17th May, all eight Harry Potter movies will be on Netflix for UK and Ireland subscribers. These include:

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011)

Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe

Tom was cast as Harry's school nemesis Draco Malfoy. He had already starred in a number of commercials and the film 'The Borrowers'.

Emma Watson

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in 2001 was Emma's debut screen performance.

Emma has starred in a number of films and took on the role of Belle in the live action version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

Matthew Lewis starred as Neville Longbottom, who ended up being one of heroes of the story.

The term 'Longbottoming' was coined to describe people who became extremely attractive when they grew up after Matthew Lewis turned into a hunk!

The news comes just weeks after TV giant HBO confirmed they have secured a deal to create the "first ever scripted television series" based on the Harry Potter franchise.

Sharing a 30-second teaser on Twitter, HBO bosses wrote: 'Your Hogwarts letter is here. Max has ordered the first ever #HarryPotter scripted television series, a faithful adaptation of the iconic books. #StreamOnMax.'

Not much information has been confirmed about the series just yet, but reports are suggesting it will be made up of seven seasons to cover each of the seven books.
