Sir Rod Stewart reunited with Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones on stage at The BRITs

What a performance!

Last night (18th February), was the 40th anniversary of the biggest night in UK music, The BRIT Awards with Mastercard, and to celebrate the event, Sir Rod Stewart closed the ceremony, finishing his set accompanied by former Faces members, Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones to perform their hit 'Stay With Me'.

Fans were very excited to see three of the Faces members reunited on the BRITs stage, 27 years after they first performed on the stage. Leaving messages such as, 'True legends of the music industry 👊🏽', and 'Terrific ending, love the comaraderie between you and Ronnie.' (sic) it was clear that the fans were very happy to see them back together.

In the run up to the big night, Ronnie Wood shared a video of himself on the tube, holding a copy of the Metro newspaper, telling his fans he was on the Jubilee Line going to The BRITs.

Ronnie also appeared on stage to present the award for Male Solo Artist, which was won by rapper Stormzy, who fought of competition from Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Dave, Michael Kiwanuka.

The 2020 BRIT Awards was once again a massive night, with an exclusive performance by Billie Eilish, the 18-year-old singer who performed the new James Bond theme tune, 'No Time To Die'. Billie, who also won Best International Female Solo Artist, was accompanied by her brother Finneas O'Connell, composer Hans Zimmer, Johnny Marr and an orchestra.

Other winners on the night included, Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi, who picked up Best New Artist & Song of the Year, and British rapper Dave, who won the prestigious Mastercard Album of the Year.
