Oasis release 'Champagne Supernova' live at Knebworth 1996

Oasis have revealed live footage of their classic song ‘Champagne Supernova’ from documentary ‘Oasis Knebworth 1996’.

The seven minute video of previously unseen performance footage takes you back to one of the defining moments of Britpop and the 90s.

The performance features special guest John Squire of the The Stone Roses playing alongside Oasis. There's also commentary from Noel Gallagher & Bonehead reflecting on how it felt to perform their iconic song with an icon from another Manchester band.

Warning: Lot's of bad language (as you'd expect from Oasis in 1996)

The 1996 gig was probably the peak of Oasis's career playing to250,000 fans over two nights - joining the ranks of Knebworth headliners, The Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin and Queen (the venue for Freddie Mercury's final show with the band).

When Oasis performed the did not hold back, the guest list alone was bigger than some arena shows with the boys inviting 7,000, including huge names from the 90s such as Kate Moss, Jarvis Cocker and Mick Hucknall.

There is also going to be a live album released on 19th November via Big Brother Recordings.
