New Dolly Parton documentary set to air on Channel 5

Fans will gain further insight into Dolly's life

A special documentary about music icon Dolly Parton's incredible career is set to air on Channel 5, offering fans an exclusive insight into the singer's life.

Titled Dolly Parton: In Her Own Words, the documentary will see Dolly talk about her career, and how it has led to her making her first rock album, 'Rockstar'. The programme will be available to watch on Friday 29th December at 9pm on Channel 5.

The 90-minute special will feature exclusive new interviews and archive footage as it looks into Dolly's remarkable success. In addition to hearing from Dolly herself in the documentary, fans will also be able to hear from Greatest Hits Radio presenter Ken Bruce and musicians Emmylou Harris and Peter Frampton.
