Two music icons announced for Celebrity Gogglebox
They're joining this Friday
Music icons, Queen singer Adam Lambert and soul legend Beverley Knight have been announced to join the Celebrity Gogglebox line-up.
The show, which started last week, films celebrities as they watch popular TV shows such as The 1% Club, Spy in The Ocean, Fake Profile, and This Morning.
The duo that both appear on the TV show Starstruck will be joining Celebrity Gogglebox this Friday (23rd June). Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Adam admitted they haven't decided on the all-important nibbles yet.
"Beverley and I have a blast performing on stage so it’ll be brilliant to watch Gogglebox together," Adam said.
He continued: "We haven’t decided what our snacks will be yet, but I can’t wait to sit down for a minute and watch some great TV."
'Come as You Are' singer Beverley then added: "Giving a running commentary in front of the telly while drinking tea is standard for me!
"Having Adam with me was a match made in heaven, he’s got wisecracks for days!"
Beverley and Adam are both on the judging panel of ITV series Starstruck, along with Jason Manford and Sheridan Smith. The TV series, which is presented by Olly Murs, sees hopefuls impersonating singers. It is set to return for another series this year, with Shania Twain taking over from Sheridan who has other filming commitments.
Meanwhile, Celebrity Gogglebox is set to continue tomorrow night (23rd June). The fifth series started last week, with familiar faces Liv and Nick Grimshaw, Bez and Shaun Ryder, Olly Levy and Paul Sinha, Clare Balding and Alice Arnold, Martin and Roman Kemp, Tubsey, Big Zuu and Hyder, and Rob Beckett and Tom Allen.
New additions for this year's series also include singer Tom Grennan and his dad, Davina McCall alongside her boyfriend Michael Douglas, and Jane McDonald with her best friend Sue.
