In the playground, a humiliated Archie slaps Angelica because Arthur is making fun of him, but he doesn't know that he's being watched by the adults.

Appalled, Jimmy snatches Archie away from Angelica and as Jai arrives at the school he tells him that Archie's been bullying his kids and that he hasn't seen the end of this.

Buoyed by getting away with his vindictive campaign but worried the grown-ups will find out the truth, Arthur tells Archie that everyone would be better off without him.

The next say, the Sharma's are horrified to find Archie's bedroom empty, and Jimmy is stunned when he's called in for police questioning regarding his disappearance.

A seething Jai declares war on Jimmy, knowing Arthur's got something to do with Archie's disappearance, but things take an unexpected turn when he receives a call from social services...

Aaron is determined to intimidate Wendy enough to force her out of the village, and his tactics are work when Wendy is left rattled after he shows up at the surgery where she works.

Things escalate when Luke finds out what Aaron has been doing to his mum and squares up to him when they walk by each other in the street.

An anxious Wendy, not wanting to make things worse, has to drag Luke off of Aaron and Aaron retreats, promising this isn't over.

Wendy is chatting to Bob - her only ally in Emmerdale - outside who shows her some neighbourly concern, but she cuts the conversation short when she notices Aaron lurking.

Hurriedly jumping into the car and starting the ignition, Wendy is spooked by the car that's following close behind her, scared that Aaron is chasing her.

That night, Luke arrives home and is horrified to find Aaron has broken in and is waiting for him. As their chat becomes heated, Aaron grabs a golf club and launches himself at Luke.

Meanwhile, Ellis makes his surprise return from Dubai just in time to mediate what could be an explosive argument between Billy and Al, who's furious that Billy isn't pulling his weight.

Later on, Ellis runs into Belle who's upset that he didn't let her know before hand that he'd be coming home.

Elsewhere, Grandma Kim is showing an uncharacteristic display of affection toward Millie, packing her, Jamie and Andrea off for a trip to Lapland.

Suspicious of her motives, Graham is sure she's up to something and becomes even more convinced that he's Millie's father.

Feeling festive, Bob wants to put on a pantomime for the village and enlists Leyla, Rishi and Liam to help him put on the production.

Though she feigns indifference, Leyla is actually secretly excited to rehearse the panto's kissing scene with newly single Liam.

Now let's remind ourselves of what's happening this week, shall we?

Elsewhere, Kim Tate is finally in possession of the DNA results proving who Millie's dad is. But when her daughter-in-law Andrea Tate is rushed to hospital and she witness the love between her and Jamie Tate, she wonders whether she should reveal the truth after all. Graham Foster, of course, has other ideas...
