Today, they've shared a video thanking visitors for all of their support, despite the challenges:
The zoo hopes to re-open on the 12th of April as part of lockdown easing.
The past year has been a struggle for many visitor attractions up and down the country, with a big loss in funding.
It has been down to fundraisers and visitors at times when the zoo could be open to keep the care of animals going.
