A dispersal order's been in place overnight in Brentwood, following multiple reports of anti-social behaviour.

Essex Police say several members of the public made calls about antisocial behaviour yesterday (April 11th) on High Street, with some young people armed.

No injuries have been reported, with officers dealing with the incident before putting a dispersal order in place to reduce further risk in the area.

It was in place until 6am this morning (April 12th). The order gave officers enhanced powers, to ask anyone suspected of causing antisocial behaviour to leave the area.
