Man exposes himself to woman in Witham

Police are linking two separate incidents

High visibility police patrols are being carried out in Witham after a man reportedly exposed himself to a woman.

The victim, in her 30s, was walking her dog in the Maldon Road area at around 10am on Friday 12 March when it happened.

It's being linked to an incident just off Laurence Avenue at around 4pm on 10 March where three girls saw a man exposing himself.

The suspect is described as white, slim, around 20-years-old with medium-length dark brown hair.

He was seen wearing a blue jacket, grey trousers and brown shoes.

Detective Sergeant Luke Howard, from Braintree CID, said:

"I know these incidents will be concerning to the community and we have high visibility patrols taking place in the area.

"We are treating these incidents very seriously and have detectives working hard to identify the person responsible.

"If you have any information or see anything suspicious please call us."
