Man arrested after fatal High Ongar crash
A motorcyclist in his 40s has died
Essex Police have arrested a man on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and driving while unfit, after a fatal crash near High Ongar.
Officers were called to Chelmsford Road, near to the junction with The Street, around 5:35pm on Saturday afternoon (April 13th).
Sadly, a motorcyclist in his 40s died at the scene of the crash involving a motorbike and a car.
Police closed the road that evening while emergency services were at the scene.
They've launched an appeal for footage and information which might support their investigation.
