Anglian Community Enterprise (ACE) says it has taken the "difficult decision" to temporarily close Harwich Urgent Treatment Centres' Minor Injuries Unit.

It's due to sickness and the need to support staff working on the wards.

While it's hoped the closure will only last two weeks, the trust will be constantly reviewing the situation and aims to reopen it as soon as possible.

In the meantime, residents who need treatment for minor injuries can visit Clacton Urgent Treatment Centre on Tower Road.

Alternatively, you can get medical advice and support by calling 111.
