Man charged in connection with Basildon attempted murder investigation
A 33-year-old is due to appear in court today
A man's been charged in connection with an attempted murder investigation in Basildon.
On May 4th, police were called to a location outside Vange Riverview Centre just before 6pm, where a man had been seriously assaulted.
He was taken to hospital with a head injury, where he remains in a critical condition.
33-year-old Codey Nolan, of River View in Basildon, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and offering to supply Class A drugs.
He's been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' court today (May 13th).
Essex Police are appealing for witnesses, footage and information.
