Man dies after Thorpe Bay crash

A man in his 70s has died at the scene of a single vehicle crash in Thorpe Bay.

Yesterday (April 16th), just before 2pm, Essex Police were called to Maplin Way, where a man died at the scene.

Officers believe he became unwell behind the wheel.

The road was closed for several hours but has since re-opened, with Police launching an appeal for information, CCTV, dash cam and other footage which may help their investigation.
