Essex Police have reissued their appeal for information after three men were hit by a car in Clacton on Saturday morning.

Officers were called to Marine Parade East in Clacton just after 1.10am on Saturday the 19th of September.

It was reported a group of people were fighting inside the Moon and Starfish pub but further enquiries have confirmed the fight started outside in the street.

A black Vauxhall Astra then collided with the three men at the junction with Colne Road.

One was a member of the public. Two of the victims were initially believed to have been staff members at the pub but it’s been established they are staff at another venue nearby.

Two had leg injuries and the third suffered leg and elbow injuries.

Officers stopped a car matching the description in Hayes Road a short time later and arrested the two occupants.
