Watches worth £70,000 stolen in Maldon armed robbery
Thieves targeted a jewellers earlier today
Three watches worth £70,000 have been stolen during an armed robbery on a Maldon jewellers this morning.
Two men wearing motorcycle helmets and dark clothing pulled up outside Mitchell’s Jewellery on Maldon High Street at 10:15am this morning.
One of them forced entry into the building, taking three watches valued at around £70,000.
Both then left on a motobike, heading down Butt Lane.
Police are yet to make any arrests and are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
