Woman threated with bread knife in Witham
Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident to come forward.
A woman answered her door on Holst Avenue at 11.10am on 19th November to find a man holding a bread knife.
He threatened her when she opened the door but did not harm her.
The suspect is described as white, around five foot 10, in his 20s, of a slim build with light coloured eyes and blond hair.
He was wearing all black clothing, with a black balaclava and black gloves.
Essex Police say it is being treated as a targeted incident and anyone who saw a man matching the description is asked to call to contact 101.
