Man attacked by gang wearing balaclavas who forced entry to Bonhill house

They forced entry to the house in the Braehead area shortly after midnight on Saturday.

A man has been seriously assaulted by a gang wearing balaclavas in West Dunbartonshire.

Shortly after midnight on Saturday morning, four men wearing forced entry into the house in Bonhill, assaulted the 38-year-old and stole from him.

He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley and later discharged.

Detective Constable Emma Chalk said:

“Enquiries are ongoing to identify and trace the four men responsible for this attack, which we believe was targeted.

“If anyone witnessed anything that may assist our investigation, or has any information or personal footage, please contact officers through 101 quoting reference number 0211 of 16 March."
