Five men arrested following Old Firm match

The arrests were made for minor public order offences

Police Scotland have confirmed that five men were arrested following Sunday’s Old Firm clash.

Rangers and Celtic went head to head at Hampden Park for the Scottish Cup semi-final, where Celtic claimed a 1-0 victory.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “five men, aged between 17 and 31 years, were arrested for minor public order offences following the Rangers v Celtic football match at Hampden, Sunday, 30 April 2023”

The Glasgow sides will face each other next on Saturday May 13 at Ibrox. for the final encounter of their 2022/23 season.
