Man charged in connection with impersonating nurse at Glasgow hospital

Officers have arrested and charged a 28-year-old man in connection with impersonating a nurse at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow.
A memo sent to NHS Lanarkshire last week by staff in Glasgow suggests a man had entered the premises posing as a staff member at least four times between March and the date of his arrest in July.
He was reportedly wearing an NHS uniform with a lanyard and a fake ID badge.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with impersonating a member of nursing staff at a hospital in Glasgow on Tuesday, 18 July.
“He was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 19 July. A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
