Police hunt for man in Blantyre after he threatened officers with knife
A woman has also been arrested after the incident which began with a routine traffic stop on Church Street.

Officers in Blantyre are hunting for a man who threatened police with a knife before running off.
He was a passenger in a car police tried to stop on Church Street around 7.30pm on Thursday, with footage of a huge emergency response going viral on social media.
The car then collided with a police vehicle and the man threatened officers with a weapon before making off.
The 34-year-old female driver was traced nearby and has been arrested in connection with disorder and road traffic offences.
There are no reported injuries and there is not believed to be any risk to the wider public.
