Officers seize £235,000 worth off cannabis from street in Glasgow

Officers say they've seized around £235,000 worth of cannabis from a property in Glasgow.

They made the discovery around 11.20pm on Tuesday on Battlefield Avenue.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.20pm on Tuesday, 2 April, 2024, officers discovered a cannabis cultivation at an address on Battlefield Avenue, Glasgow.

“The plants, which have an estimated street value of £235,200, were removed from the property.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
