Man seriously injured after Ashton Lane attack

Officers are appealing for information following a serious assault in Glasgow on Thursday, 28 December 2023.

Police were called to reports of an injured man on Ashton Lane, Glasgow around 1.15am.

Emergency services attended and a 45-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

Officers are following a positive line of enquiry.

Detective Sergeant Alastair Taylor said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident."
