The SPFL have announced that there will be a 5% away allocation for next season's Old Firm matches.

After engagement with Celtic and Rangers, the league body will ensure tickets are available the travelling fans.

An ongoing dispute between Glasgow's big two clubs means no visiting supporters have attended a derby since January 2023.

Other than cup meetings at Hampden Park, every league match since has been attended only be home fans.

The stand-off can be linked back to 2018 when Celtic's away allocation at Ibrox was cut from 8,000 to 800.

The new ruling will see around 2,500 Rangers fans inside Parkhead, whilst roughly 2,000 Celtic supporters will be allowed in to Ibrox.

It will not affect the remaining two matches of this campaign.
