SWG3 bosses get warning from Glasgow Licensing Board

Councillors are giving bosses at SWG3 a written warning after the deaths of three teenagers who went to events at the venue in the last eight months.
The Glasgow Licensing Board is ordering them to phone the police each time someone is taken away in an ambulance if they want to remain open.
Councillor Dan Hutchison represents Govan and sits on the board.
He told Greatest Hits Radio: "We felt that they had done a lot of good work since these instances occurred, including on harm reduction which was a key factor for our decision.
"The law says that you're not allowed to consume drugs within a licensed premises but if we are being realistic, it's very hard to stop that from ever happening especially when the venue holds electronic dance music events."
Today's decision by the board also ruled staff must continue to to seize, log and store drugs confiscated from individuals by the licence holder to the satisfaction of Police Scotland.
They must also continue to enforce a zero tolerance policy on illegal substances hand in hand with a harm reduction approach.
Earlier, a lawyer representing SWG3 told the meeting staff were all shocked and saddened by the deaths.
He went on to say that if drug taking cannot be stopped in prisons then it is almost impossible to stop them being taken on the premises because they are unable to do strip searches.
