Man arrested for allegedly planning child sexual abuse in Cheltenham

A man in his 50s has been arrested after travelling to Cheltenham to meet a child where it was alleged child sexual abuse was planned.
The man was arrested today after travelling from East Sussex earlier this week.
Police say the man had believed he had been talking to an adult with access to a child and had arranged to meet them in the town.
He was arrested on suspicion of arranging the commission of a child sex offence and remains in police custody.
