Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a domestic abuse incident in Stroud
A woman was chased into the centre after being assaulted in the early hours of yesterday.
She ran from an address in Cashes Green into Stroud town centre while wearing a dressing gown at around 5am.
The victim is now receiving treatment at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for facial injuries. and a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Officers said they would like to hear from anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage covering Cashes Green Road, Westwood Road and Cainscross Road.
