A woman has been charged in connection with an alleged stabbing in Gloucester.

A man in his 30s remains in hospital after sustaining serious injuries at an address on London Road on Thursday.

Mim Hughes, 40, of London Road in Gloucester, is charged with Section 18 wounding with intent, possession of a knife in a public place and assaulting a police officer.

She has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Cheltenham Magistrates Court later.
