The whole of North East Lincolnshire has now moved into Tier 3 of coronavirus restrictions as the second national lockdown comes to an end.

The area moves into the highest tier despite criticism by some Tory MPs.

Dozens voted against their own Government last night but the measures still passed in the House of Commons.

Meanwhile the leader of North East Lincolnshire Council Phillip Jackson says he hopes people will follow the guidance to get infection rates down so the region can be moved down in the Tier system.

The impact will be felt by businesses.

Grimsby Golf Club says restrictions are having a major effect on their finances.
