Harrogate Town have signed promising defender Jay Williams
Harrogate Town AFC have confirmed the signing of promising defender Jay Williams from Kettering Town.
The 20-year-old had been with The Poppies since November 2020 and impressed during his short spell in the National League North.
The new arrival came through the ranks at Northampton, a club he spent seven years with having joined at the age of 13.
Williams would make his professional debut for the Cobblers in September 2018 and go on to make 17 senior appearances for his first club.
The defender will wear the number 27 shirt at Town and is available for Saturday’s trip to Cambridge United.
