Harrogate woman goes viral on Tiktok after unexpected visitor

A woman from Harrogate has gone viral on Tiktok after she shared the moment she discovered a ferret had made itself at home in her kitchen.
Ashleigh Wilson could hear strange scratching noises from behind the cupboards in the kitchen, so decided to pull them out to investigate.
At first she thought it was a rat, but once she noticed a little nose pointing out, she realised it was in fact a ferret.
Mum Ashleigh, said: "I honestly thought it was a rat at first. I didn't want to get bitten so I put some rubber gloves on just to protect myself.
"The I noticed it's little cute face and decided to pull the kickboards off. After that it was carnage.
"I'd got the dog barking, the kids have got their faces pressed against the window, the kickboards were off, a ferret running round! It was mad.
"I didn't expect the video to go viral. I've posted a few things before just to entertain the kids but they've only had about 10 likes!"
Since posting the video on Tiktok, it's already had over 60,000 likes and over 1000 shares across the video platform.
Luckily, the little creature was reunited with her owner - who surprisingly only lived three doors down the road.
