Man seriously injured after collision in Harrogate

A man in his 70s has been taken to hospital with a serious head injury after a collision with a minibus in Harrogate.

It happened around 9.30 this morning on the A59 near Forest Lane Head.

The road has now re-opened between Bogs Lane in Harrogate and Long Walk in Knaresborough.

Witnesses or motorists with dash-cam footage are asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
