Emergency services in Northallerton after woman hit by lorry
Diversions are in place and people are being urged to avoid the area.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of serious collision at Northallerton involving a woman pedestrian and a lorry.
The incident was reported to the police at 12.02pm today and occurred on Brompton Road at the roundabout near Kwik Fit and Marks and Spencer.
Ambulance, fire and police are working at the scene and local diversions have been put in place.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area until further notice.
