Police appeal for information after three vehicle fatal A61 collision
It happened on the A61 between Ripley and South Stainley.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a fatal collision on the A61 on Saturday afternoon. The collision occurred between a Suzuki Bandit Motorcycle, a dark coloured Land Rover Discovery and a white Ford transit van on the A61 between Ripley and South Stainley.
Both other drivers stopped at the scene of the accident, however, the rider of the motorcycle, a 59-year-old man sadly died.
The road was closed for several hours so officers could conduct an investigation at the scene.
Anyone who saw or has dashcam footage of the incident, is urged to get in contact with police, either by calling 101 or via email.
