A man's due in court charged with 42 historic child sex offences at a school in Craven.

The offences are alleged to have happened while the 71 year-old, from Bristol, was working as a teacher and school rugby coach at Malsis School in Glusburn - between 1977 and 1992.

He's been charged with offences against 20 victims.

The male complainants were all aged under 14 at the time of the allegations.

Malsis School was based at Malsis Hall, Glusburn, near Crosshills. It was an independent preparatory school until its closure in 2014.
