York City survive National League relegation after Solihull Moors clash
They'll spend another season in the top tier of non-league football

York City have avoided relegation from the National League and will continue to stay among the ranks.
A late run of good form has proved for them to finish the season outside the top four, and stay in the division for another season.
Going into their clash with Solihull Moors, there had been questions on whether the club had done enough to keep their spot on the rankings.
Both teams had a series of close calls during the course of the match, with both York City and Solihull Moors refusing to concede a goal by half-time.
However, York City had managed to let one goal through by the visitors, and with the final whistle, the final score was 1-0 to the visiting team.
This was enough to keep the Minstermen in the National League, meaning that they will not be relegated to the National League North division.
In a post uploaded to their social media channels, the team said they were grateful for all the support as fans breathed a sigh of relief.
"City avoid relegation, and will play Vanarama National League football next season," the team wrote. "Thank you for your incredible support throughout a difficult season."
As a result, Boreham Wood has now been relegated, following a tight, but goalless clash against Ebbsfleet United earlier on Saturday (April 20th).
