Man dies in Worcester road crash

Police are appealing for witnesses, after a fatal collision on Pershore Lane in Worcester yesterday (Monday 29 April).

It happened at around 10.25pm and involved a yellow Volkswagen Golf and a silver Honda Civic.

A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and being unfit through drink or drugs.

Three men in their 20s and a man in his 30s were taken to hospital, with potentially serious injuries
