Body of a man discovered at North East harbour

A man's body has been found at an Aberdeenshire harbour.

Police were called out to the beach at Banff Harbour earlier this morning.

They say investigations are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.40am on Wednesday, 14 February, 2024, we were made aware that the body of a man was found on the beach at Banff Harbour.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
