Appeal to find 80-year-old man last seen getting on a bus on the A96

A pensioner from Nairn has been missing since Friday morning

People across the north of Scotland are being asked to help look for an 80 year old man who's been missing for nearly 24 hours.

Malcolm MacLeod, 80, from the Nairn area, was last seen on Friday 29th December when he boarded a bus for Inverness on the A96 at around 10am.

He has links to the Glasgow and Aberdeen areas.

What he was wearing

Malcolm is described as around 5ft 8in tall, of average build, with short grey hair, clean shaven and wears glasses.

When he was last seen Malcolm was wearing a grey puffer jacket, grey beanie hat and black trousers. He also uses a walking stick.

Sergeant Craig McGhee, Aviemore Police Station, said: “There’s significant concern for Malcolm’s welfare and I would urge anyone who thinks they have seen him, or has any information on his whereabouts, to contact us as soon as possible.”
