Fire crews trying to put out field fire in Grantham
it's on Gorse Lane
Fire crews are in Grantham working to put out a field fire on Gorse Lane.
Around 3,000 square metres of stubble field are ablaze.
Approximately 8 crews including those from Sleaford and Bourne are in attendance.
Locals are being advised to keep doors and windows closed.
Meanwhile Lincolnshire Police have confirmed Greenfields School and Grantham Preparatory School have been evacuated as a precaution.
While the The B1174 and Spittlegate area has been closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
