Newark's Shona McCallin is into the women's hockey semi-finals at Tokyo 2020, as she helped Team GB to a dramatic victory against Spain on penalties.

Maddie Hinch was the shoot-out hero again as Great Britain kept alive their hopes of retaining their women's Olympic hockey title.

Britain went ahead in each half of this quarter-final through Hannah Martin and Grace Balsdon respectively but were pegged back on each occasion in a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

Hinch, who excelled in Britain's shoot-out victory over Holland in the final of Rio 2016, came to the fore once again, saving all of Spain's attempts, with Martin and Sarah Jones scoring for Team GB.

Britain face Holland in Wednesday's semi-final.
