Emma Thompson and her sister Sophie have breached a High Court injunction prohibiting entry to a farmer's field in Lancashire.

The same field was the location of anti-fracking protesters nearly two years ago who set up camp and handed out free tea and cake to those passing by.

The Oscar-winning actress and her sister who won Celebrity Masterchef in 2014 climbed over a gate next to a sign that warned the land was subject to a high court injunction.

The pair were in Lancashire to film a parody of Great British Bake Off for Greenpeace.

Frack Free Bake Off saw the actress sisters cooking energy-themed cakes while an unhappy farmer sprayed the gathered crowd with manure.

On the Greenpeace website Emma said, "We’re breaking Cuadrilla’s injunction – the special legal block they took out to (get) protestors off their land – for our Frack Free Bake Off. No doubt there’ll be kitchen equipment and flour everywhere. But we’ll pack everything up carefully, taking care not leave behind any litter, drilling rigs, toxic fracking fluid or unwanted pollution."

Greenpeace are expected to release a series of videos surrounding their 'parody show' on their YouTube channel shortly.
