Creamfields has released details of Steel Yard, an ambitious superstructure which will stand 20 metres high above the fields around Daresbury - home of the annual dance music festival.

Steel Yard is the result of over a year of planning and is the first of its kind in Europe, being designed exclusively for Creamfields.

With a capacity of 20,000 Steel Yard uses the latest technology to truly immerse the crowd.

Reminiscent of Ultra Music Festival's Megastructure in Miami, Steel Yard is just the first in new production announcements according to Creamfields, which was voted the UK number 1 dance music festival for the eighth year in a row.

This year Creamfields spans a massive four days hosting some of the biggest names in dance music, including Calvin Harris, Avicii - for his last ever UK performance, Jack Ü, Fatboy Slim and Oliver Heldens.
