Pop star Robbie Williams has shocked fans by revealing he will be removing one of his massive hits from future live shows. In a recent interview the singer revealed he struggles to perform 'Angels' and won't be performing it during his upcoming tour.

Speaking to the Daily Star he said he finds it emotional, "I have to hold myself together or I could cry at everything and look pathetic.

"There are people who put posters up before Angels about their mum or dad who died and I think 'Oh God, I am going to cry'. It did affect me.

"People want an Under The Radar gig and I will do it."

Although it only reached number 4 in the UK, Robbie's 1997 hit 'Angels' was certified double platinum, and also reached the top 10 in other European countries. In 2005 it was voted the Best Song in the past 25 years, by the British public and he then performed it on stage at the BRIT Awards 2005 with Joss Stone.

Robbie is due to resume his 'The Heavy Entertainment Tour' in New Zealand later this month, after having to cancel some of his gigs last year due to ill health. In December he revealed the reason behind cancelling his shows was an illness that had left him in intensive care for seven days, and ill for five weeks.

Thankfully Robbie is much better now, although this scare has resulted in a change in his lifestyle. He is now mostly vegan and does pilates and yoga every day, however he still has a "really big burger on a Sunday"!

Last year Robbie also released a brand new album called 'Under The Radar Volume 2'. This album is a follow-up to his 2014 album 'Under the Radar Volume 1' which featured b-sides and demos which had never been heard before.
