Gerrard Unveiled At LA Galaxy
Steven Gerrard has been unveiled at LA Galaxy. The former Liverpool captain appeared at half time on Saturday as they played Toronto FC. Standing on the pitch at the Stub Hub Stadium Gerrard said "yeah it's been fantastic, the people of LA have made me feel so welcome and myself and my family. "I just wish I could play tonight - the first game can't come quick enough". Gerrard is set to make his debut against San Jose next week. He's already winning over the supporters. He bought cases of beer for each of the three fans' groups. Gerrard's revealed he spoke to David Beckham and Robbie Keane before making the move. "I got a lot of advice from both players. This is a big change and a new challenge for me and my family. "I've been in Liverpool all my life but this is a good place for me to come and enjoy my football and hopefully win some trophies to add to my collection".
