Investigations ongoing after man's body found in Walton Hall Park
Emergency services pulled the man out of the water and gave CPR
Investigations are underway after the body of a man was found in a lake in Liverpool's Walton Hall park.
Emergency services were contacted at just before 9am on Boxing Day following reports that the body of a male had been discovered in the lake.
The male was removed and CPR commenced but he was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify the man and notify his next of kin.
An investigation is currently underway and CCTV and witness enquiries are being carried out in the local area. The area around the lake is currently cordoned off.
