A homeless man accused of stealing a purse whilst helping victims of the terror attack at the Arena has pleaded not guilty.

Chris Parker, who's 33-years-old, appeared at Manchester Crown Court this morning (Tuesday 12th September 2017).

Our reporter Amy Scarisbrick was there for us:

He's accused of stealing a purse from the grandma of a victim in the terror attack and a mobile phone from a teenager caught up in the blast.

Judge Hilary Manley bailed Parker until October 16 for a pre-trial hearing.

He'll go on trial on the 2nd January 2018.
