Boat stolen from Burgh Castle

Police are appealing for information

A five metre timber day boat has been taken from Burgh Castle Marina in Great Yarmouth sometime between Saturday 17th January and Sunday 24th January.

Police say an unknown suspect(s) is believed to have cut the ropes of the boat and taken it from its mooring, before it was later recovered at Goodchild's Marine on the 24th January.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who might have information about the theft.

The boat is described as blue and white with the name 'WOODPECKER' and the Broads Authority registration 1857Y.
