Man dies after car crashes into a tree near Wymondham
Police are now looking for witnesses
A man's died after his car crashed into a tree near Wymondham.
It happened yesterday morning (22 January 2024) at 1:41am, when a red Seat Ibiza collided with a tree as it travelled along Melton Road towards Wymondham.
The driver, a man in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services, including fire and ambulance, were on scene and road closures were in place.
Police are now asking any witnesses to the crash, or anyone who may have observed the vehicle before the crash, to come forward.
